At Innov8 Futures we provide a safe, therapeutic environment for our Post-16 learners to focus their attention towards their future as adults and discover how to thrive in their own lives and their communities. Through a robust initial assessment with learners and their families, we devise a programme of personalised support that works towards their individual goals and aspirations for the future.
Some examples of areas we cover are:
– Functional Skills in Maths and English (up to Level 2)
– Life Skills
– IT competency
– Financial Literacy
– RHSE
The key to success with Innov8’s unique Post-16 programme is how we provide these opportunities whilst concurrently improving mental health and supporting learners to overcome the individual challenges and barriers that they face. Through the combination of carefully tailored programmes that are entirely young person centred, with a therapeutic and individualised approach to support, we enable our young adults to chase and accomplish their dreams.
We monitor progress through weekly report sheets and regular check-ins with learners and their families. Identifying any issues and problem solving together quickly is paramount to their success. We have high expectations of our young people because we know they can achieve incredible things with the right support.
